Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Right after your early morning breakfast meal, you will drive towards western Uganda through Fort Portal. You will have your lunch en route. The drive will reward you breathtaking scenic views of western Uganda. You will get to see open grasslands, cattle farms and so many other beautiful landscapes. Stay at Kyaninga Lodge for luxury. Day 2 – Chimpanzee Tracking
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a short briefing meeting that should last for about 30 minutes. Right after this meeting, you will then penetrate the forests in search for Chimpanzees. Chimps are pretty much easier to locate and the activity usually lasts for about 4 – 5 hours inclusive of a full hour encounter with these primates. After tracking the chimps, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relax a bit before heading for a swamp walk on the birder’s paradise of Bigodi. So many bird species are spotted here and you will definitely enjoy your bird watching adventure.

Day 3 – Transfer Back to Kampala
This day is the day we transfer back to Kampala but it comes with a few cultural experiences too. You will visit a few cultural sites like Karambi Tombs and Tooro Palace en route. You will also have your lunch en route. Arrive in Kampala in the evening to catch up with your return flight or drop off.
